  • No, it depends on the geology. Some granitic rocks, black shales, sedimentary rocks with high concentrations of uranium, and metamorphic rocks derived from the latter 3 will have high radon. Otherwise it’s not a problem.

Odds are your local or national government has published radon susceptibility maps with detailed info.

Me too. In lieu of bravery I’m inching my way forward, making small changes.

Find one thing you can do that doesn’t feel impossible and do it. Something that you really want but is deniable and not permanent. Just enjoy it. Then do another thing, stepping closer to what you want without making any huge life changing commitments.

Eventually, some things that had felt impossibly big becomes the next logical step, something you just want to do.

    There is still time.

I’m really hoping that Thunderbird includes feeds in the things it syncs across devices. If they did that and also integrated some kind of markdown personal wiki then it would explode in popularity, IMO.

If I see a good article posted somewhere I’ll then check out their other articles/posts. If I like what I’m seeing I add it to my RSS feed. That’s all there is to it, and after a while you’ll find yourself with a nice long blogroll.
