Assigned Male at DMV.
Doubly so since it gives a woman a modicum of agency in a series where they basically have none.
(I do appreciate that Eowyn is portrayed as struggling for self-determination and that the fantasy setting generally echoes medieval Europe and its social mores, but even then, her portrayal fails the Bechdel test in both book and film.)

They are far right […] they, allegedly, support some socialist policies
This sounds familiar for some reason.
Be David Zaslav:
Huh. I’m on Mlem (iOS 27, Mlem 2.6 TestFlight) and I get a low-res version for both thumbnail and full image.
I think it might be about home instance rather than client?
Stormcrow | Steven Crowder
Curious.
You have ever been a herald of woe. Troubles follow you like crows, and ever the oftener the worse. […] Here you come again! And with you come evils worse than before, as might be expected. Why should I welcome you, Gandalf Stormcrow?
It also pops up in Western literature as “this too shall pass,” from a story that Edward FitzGerald picked up from Jewish folklore, in which the phrase is attributed to King Solomon’s advisers (but it’s actually probably from the Indian subcontinent or Persia).
Danny Schmidt has a song about it that I think is one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard, and I really wish everyone would listen to it.
100%. I’m not quite as ardently anti-Windows as most on this community from a UI/UX standpoint, but both Bluetooth and audio device switching are genuinely terrible experiences in Windows. I find myself pairing audio devices from scratch all the time on my work laptop, and it’s painful every time.

Lucky our existing names aren’t stupid! Imagine if April just meant “Bud-opening-month,” or if the rest were named after gods, or festivals, or emperors, or if they were numbered but the order was all wrong. That would be ridiculous.
Wookieepedia only has Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Qui-Gon, Luke, and Leia listed as known force ghosts, so I’d guess the latter.

No, but he could definitely pull some strings to get IANA to add .trump as a new gTLD (honestly, I’m surprised it hasn’t already happened - I had to check) and the government has no obligation to continue using .us or .gov as far as I know.
For those looking to find more, this is generally about the translation of the Hebrew ʿalmah (עלמה) to the context-sensitive Greek parthénos (παρθένος) in the Septuagint, the Greek Old Testament. The passage that gets most attention is Isaiah 7:14 as it seems to have been interpreted by the gospel writers as a prophecy of Jesus (or a suitable prophecy to model the gospels on):
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look, the young woman is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel

Wouldn’t be quite so impressive if it was slices of orange and apple being fed to a banana.
Generally a good approach, but…
Do you have to use or choose to use AI products? Why not use every single one of those tokens available to your subsidized subscription? Did your search engine build in a “free” AI product? Ask it as many useless questions as you’d like. Getting emails from AI agents? Why not chat with them and lead them on until they hit a billing wall?
Good thing the planet’s not dying.
It’s weird that there’s no credit baked into the image, but this is art based on a Dan Sheehan post.

I could believe that it might be a local or even vocation-specific phrase (see “southpaw” in boxing, for example), but the doubling down instead of questioning whether their take might be hyperspecific or plain wrong is hilarious.

Yeah, “paw” typically is understood to mean the forefoot of furry animals without hooves or similar. I think most people would say “hand” for a monkey, but language isn’t always precise, and the phrase “monkey’s paw” (as a magical item) is at least a hundred years old too.
With the BBC, bear in mind that the party in power always has their thumb on the scale. They’re not Pravda, but they’re not wholly unbiased, to say the least.
