I call those tunes “certified fresh” in our house. I get frisson / goosebumps all the time from good music and I always call out “certified fresh” to the gang when I do and show off my arm (this is in the car a lot when I have the kids with me).

I can’t see much in common between those tunes except that they’re bangers and would almost certainly cause some goosebumps for me.

All of the answers here are missing something: pasta has a very small amount of fat in it. Eventually that fat goes rancid.

You can significantly extend shelf life of things like pasta and rice by storing them in inert gases but that’s not done generally.

Just said this to my elderly neighbour this evening. Even my eldest kids have seen fuck all snow in their lifetime. We once woke my daughter in the middle of the night for snow is how rare it’s gotten here.

I remember walking around in 30cm / a foot of snow as a kid.

I had such great summers as a kid. My mum put huge effort into making my summers good. We had this battered old mobile home in a caravan park beside the sea and I have such fond memories of it and the friends I made.

This year, having hit total burnout, I’m taking the entire summer off and building memories with my own kids. Money will be tight but we’re already having a blast. Lots of beach and hiking trips so far and lots more fun stuff on the way.

Ireland. I’d happily live in more or less any European country. Ireland is pretty great though IMO, especially for raising kids.
