When I did this I just rented a car. That’s it’s own kind of hassle but I think it still beat flying.

My second favorite thing about the movie is that it’s actually shot in Kowloon walled city.

I really do wish the story had been different. Instead of making tagah a one-of-a-kind villain the cooler explanation of why he uses air bending in such an offensive capacity could have been that avatar Sonam established the air bending empire and Tagah was her acolyte. It would have made Aang reconcile his understanding of air nomad culture with the truth that in the past, air benders had been imperial conquerors. A lot of interesting story in that direction I think. And you can explain Sonam locking Tagah in ice by initially saying that the world has united to destroy the air benders, but the gaand gradually find out the truth - the world United in self-defense against the air benders.
But you know I guess this was fine too.

5·1 month agoTucker vs Gavin Newsom is literally the nightmare scenario for 2028. Tucker will be (for the most part and not necessarily for the right reasons) right about Isreal, and profoundly wrong and dangerous on every other issue.
In 2028 you’re going to see Tucker Carlson running as a GOP candidate on an anti-isreal stance.
It’s fun and games until Kash asks you to put your name down on known falsehoods and implicates you in fraud.
3·1 month agoIn the past they let you keep CC on file for monthly payments but now they’re prepay only and they delete CC info after 40 days. I think I prepaid for like a year and half before I knew any of this. Mullvad’s obsession with user privacy is completely unparalleled in 2026.
6·1 month agoThis whole idea reminds me of the “putting solar panels on highways” idea that keeps popping up from time to time. Anyone who has ever built anything understands how stupid it is. Even if you could do it, it still wouldn’t make sense over just putting solar panels next to highways.
