It’s a fun read!
I was specifically referring to the divorce journey, with the destination being more or less settled after it’s finalized.
Your interpretation definitely works though 😆
The journey is shit but the destination is worth it. Keep your kids in mind with everything you do and you’ll always be ahead.
They have an app called Seek that I use all the time!
The current Congress has been one of the least productive in terms of passing laws… But one they did pass was the Epstein Files Transparency Act. It was the best chance to hold perpetrators to account, and had bipartisan support (which is hard to come by these days).
What I’m getting at is nobody has said “oh well”, but a handful of people appointed to the right positions have blocked anything from moving forward with it. And that’s frustrating as hell. There are also tons of distractions, such as the war in Iran or anything about the ballroom, which can make it feel like The Trump-Epstein Files™ are behind us. But they’re not.
(Though they should be)
I’m freaking out trying to think of what I could pivot to as the industry implodes
So far, nothing that pays as well
Check out the song Human Music by Canti

I agree completely, but the next best thing is making them irrelevant

The intelligence here is the ability for this person to change their core beliefs after seeing, and accepting, facts.
It matters less how long it took for them to get here, and more that they are here now
For some people, sure - actively choosing chrome despite knowing the kind of company Google has become is silly
But then I think about the people who have chrome pre-installed on their phones, with no ability to remove it. Despite using a different browser, they still got burned by this.
I do believe lemmings have a higher tech literacy than the average internet user, but I also believe tech literacy shouldn’t be a requirement to hide from ai.
The people who boast about using chrome and insist other browsers are trash absolutely had their faces eaten… But the people who did their best to avoid chrome did not
This is not a “leopards ate my face” situation.

I keep falling out of the hobby because I don’t want a printer to be my hobby - I want printing to be my hobby. But no matter how many times I try to pick it back up, my printer never produces a good print.
I’m on the other end of the swing again - looking for tuning tutorials to help get my cr10 printing well. I am very open to suggestions.
I do like tinkering with the printer, and I do want that control, but eventually it gets to a point where I just want it to work

Pizza pie!
I started working as a cook at 14
I walked to the restaurant close to my house, told the first person I saw “I want a job, but I don’t want to work with people”. They stuck me in the kitchen and taught me everything. Did that for 14 years.
