I think more people should vote like they’re human beings, not like they’re ideologues. Until things get dire, most folks tend to keep voting the same way over and over again, even if they don’t like what their leaders do. The UK is the most extreme example of this in the Western world that I can think of.

All the officers involved should be relegated to desk duty at best.

Although I must say, credit where credit is due, they did end up sentencing Henry Nowak’s killer to life in prison, which exceeded all my expectations of the UK’s justice system.

To be fair, the NFL has been breaking the law, and blatantly so. Crime is crime.

If it was truly a natural death, he probably died in his sleep. I’ve seen it happen to people way younger than him, though not often.

I know that Trump is pretty spry for his age, but we shouldn’t remember that he was a crusty 79 years old when he became president in 2024. Joe Biden wasn’t too old to run for president in 2024 either, despite being 4 years older than Trump.

U.S. District Judge Waverly Crenshaw granted Abrego Garcia’s effort to dismiss the criminal charges on the ground that the Justice Department’s prosecution was vindictive.

You know what, I’m pretty sure he was guilty of what he was accused of, but this is a fair explanation for dropping the charges.

I’d have to imagine it was an accident, most companies don’t plan to open themselves up to legal liability in this way.

This honestly should have just been something like a DBrand skin. But I guess it’s for boomers, who wouldn’t be great at putting a skin on their phone even if they knew how.

Should it be standard time instead? I’m not sure why one would be better than the other.

If you don’t trust any federal investigations, no story regarding fraud will be credible in your eyes unless prosecuted at the local level, which is unlikely.
