I think you can report the ad by clicking on the blue icon on the top right corner of the banner.

Piefed doesn’t provide an easy way to get the RedGifs thumbnail or direct link to the video source.

Lemmy returns the video url, and from that I can retrieve the thumbnail. In Boost, fedinsfw communities from a Lemmy account work better.

It should be fixed in 1.0.32

I am receiving errors after calling the RedGifs API, they have changed something in the response that crashes the app. Do you mind sharing a community that crashes? Thanks

• If you hide a post, it is marked as hidden on the server, and it should not appear again on your feed. Make sure that the option Show hidden in the top right overflow menu is unchecked.
• If a post is marked as read, it is marked as read on the server, and it should not appear again if Show read posts is unchecked for your account in Settings - Account preferences. Make sure to save the settings with the button “Save” before leaving the screen.

Both options only work for logged in users.

Do you mark many posts as read and have the “Show read posts” disabled? Are you blocking any instances?

I even registered an account on lemmy.zip and I wasn’t able to reproduce it :(

Check the following:

• Boost version is 1.0.24-28
• Settings - General - Internal YouTube Player is checked
• Setting - Advanced - Links - Links to open in app - Youtube is checked
