Red scare incoming.

What’s missing in these hoarse war cries and chest thumps is any kind of explanation of why there is as threat and what is threatened. That’s because the “threat” is really that the apartheid regime cannot stop killing and conquering without having to face its own contradictions. It’s gone full fascist, and needs constant war just to stay afloat. I look forward to the over-extension and collapse phases.

Did I “pretend everything Israel does is an antisemic trope”? No I did not. I have been calling it a genocidal apartheid regime throughout. So your characterization of my position and your ridiculous counterfactual are just factually ungrounded. You’re fighting something that is not my position.
And if you actually watch the goddamn video, the Israeli guy is not saying that Israel created the European far right. He’s saying they helped build the network. They connected the dots. But again, that’s not a “conspiracy” any more than, say, leaders of European liberal parties coming together at a Liberal International convention, or like Trotskyist groups coordinating at the Reunified Fourth International. Political parties talk to each other. That’s not conspiracy, it’s freaking politics. And the Israeli minister saying that the regime played a role in coordinating European far right parties is not “admitting a conspiracy”, it’s bragging about doing international fascist politics.
All I’m fucking saying and somehow people cannot fucking wrap their heads around it, is that in this case (not in “everything Israel does”), using a conspiratorial description (“created and owns”) of ordinary international party politics is playing into an old antisemitic trope about Jews pulling strings behind the scenes. There are no strings behind scenes, and Israel does not “own” European fascists. Describe what’s actually happening without using fucking cloak and dagger antisemitic tropes.
To explain it like you’re freaking five years old: Old timey bad people used to say all Jews are bad people that do conspiracies. Israel that is made up of Jews is doing a very bad thing: it helps fascists. But it does it in the open. Doing stuff in the open is not a conspiracy. So in this case you don’t need to sound like old timey bad people accusing the Israeli Jews of doing conspiracies. You can and should be mad at Israel for the very bad things they do without making it sound like old timey bad people.
If I sound annoyed it’s because I’ve made the same argument like 5 times and people still can’t get it through their thick skulls. One idiot even called me a Zionist apologist for it and here we are.

This is jaw droppingly shameless.

When a murderer reaches the status of folk hero, you need to think deeply about why.

You say “pretend” as if I was lying? I do think that in the context of the original thread that was saying that basically Israel “created and owns” European fascist parties, the conspiratorial framing is an anti-Semitic trope. It takes actual historical social and political forces and shoehorns them into a frame that they are inventions in the service of Israel. What actually happened is that European fascism grew organically from endogenous European contradictions, and the Israeli apartheid regime found it natural to ally with it. This was done publicly, therefore a conspiratorial framing is inaccurate and only serves as a hook for old-school antisemitic tropes. My argument is “let’s avoid these risky tropes”. I am not pretending anything. But for some reason it seems some people are so burned by Zionist propaganda that they have forgotten that antisemism exists in Western political discourse regardless of its shameless weaponization by Israel.

“cunt” is

Easy there with the death wishes and the slurs.

Are you referring to the “chess with a pigeon” phrase?

You really don’t get it, do you?
Write a sentence that uses a nasty racist trope but direct it to the Crips as opposed to all black people.
Write “the Crips are XYZ” and make XYZ some nasty nasty racist shit.
Go ahead, write it. Don’t post it, for fuck’s sake, nobody needs to see that shit. Then cover it with your hand, wait 10 seconds and re-read it.
Are you feeling embarrassed? If not, I honestly don’t know what else to tell you.

By this logic, using an anti-black racial trope for the Crips is fine because the Crips don’t represent Black people.
You are dead wrong.

You fundamentally misunderstand the problem of conflation between Israel and Judaism.
A subgroup that pretends to speak for all members of the supergroup can still be subjected to bigotry targeted to the supergroup even if they don’t represent everyone.
Example: The Chinese Communist Party claims there is only one China and that it speaks for it. The Taiwanese government disputes this. Ethnic Chinese people also exist in a very large diaspora all around the world. So we can say that the CCP does not represent all of Chinese civilization. Imagine if Joe Schmoe writes a text attacking the CCPs human rights record and in that text they use sinophobic stereotypes (that eg Chinese people are slavish). The fact that the CCP does not represent all Chinese people should not mean that we cannot criticize Joe Schmoe for using sinophobic language to make a valid point about human rights. In fact, Schmoe’s use or these racist slurs weakens the argument, strengthens anti-chinese rhetoric that hurts Chinese people regardless of their attachment to the CCP, and gives CCP propagandists an easy way to say that Schmoe doesn’t really care about human rights and just has an axe to grind against all Chinese people.
The mistake you’re making is the same as if you’re categorically denying that sinophobic tropes can even matter when discussing the CCP because it should not be conflated with all Chinese people and in the past the CCP has itself used this conflation as a shield.

The October Revolution in Russia famously started with the sailors taking action. Just saying.

Send the police.

Great!

I’m not making an analogy, I’m trying to explain that your definition of bigotry such as antisemism requiring a lack of basis on reality or evidence is wrong.

The mod uses ze/zir pronouns, let’s respect that.

That’s a weird/wrong definition of antisemitism. All bigotry clings to some kernel of truth, but takes it out of context, blows it out of proportion and weaponizes it. For example the Islamophobic trope of the fanatic zealot suicide bomber, does use extreme real world true occurrences (eg the 9-11 attackers) as a factual basis and applies it to a billion Muslims as if it were the norm. It is obviously true that Muslims as a group are not crazy suicidal zealots; it is also obviously true that suicidal Muslim zealots do exist (eg the 9-11 attackers). One should counter bigoted attacks on Muslims without denying historical fact and vice versa. Being able to make these distinctions is a matter of basic critical thinking.
You need to control a territory to declare it for yours, silly ;)
