Oh that may be, doesnt mean its common overall. But I still dont understand the comment I answered to, can someone translate?

Hm, not sure I understand what you mean? I dont think its common to feel relieved about cancelled plans. If you dont want to meet, why make plans in the first place?
I mean its 95% fake but it doesnt really make a difference for discussing it as if it was real.
I think it deoends on the relationship between the two and the kind of meeting they had planned. If its a date and grey bailed for an other date, thats really shitty. If it was a casual meetup between friends and grey bailed for a dating opportunity, its not that shitty and green was a bit rude with the follow-up, but again depends on their relationship and how they usually communicate. In any case, the last few messages are completrly overboard.
Youre blaming them for not responding for 30min? Im happy when people reply the same day, same goes for me. And Im glad people arent so obsessed with their phones that theyre constantly available.
You mean doodle? It still exists but since polls are literally built into every messaging app now, its obsolete. It could be relevant if you have a one-time meeting with people who dont know each other and dont have a common messaging app.
They werent antifa back then, they were just anti-Germany-ruling-the-world

Climate@slrpnk.net•Burning wood for power worse for climate than gas equivalent2·5 days agoIf I understand this comment chain correctly, your mistake was to simply misinterpret the headline.but instead of just admitting that you kept looking for explanations that could have made your comment make sense, which it simply doesnt.
Yes not everyone has the time to read full articles and so people may misinterpret headlines. It happens.
Also your last argument doesnt even make sense. Environmentalists dont promote deforestation as an environment-friendly alternative to gas. Wood heating is promoted as carbon neutral (by people profiting off it, mind you), which it more or less is, but it has other significant flaws that the article points out. And putting that in the headline is important especially if most dont read the article. Some people are about to switch heating systems and are thinking about buying a pellet heater assuming it is just as climate friendly as a heating pump. Reading the headline may make them reconsider.

Europe@feddit.org•Germany was largest exporter of plastic waste in 2025, sending 810,000 tonnes overseas, analysis findsEnglish
1·6 days agoSo Germany is among the highest export per capita. Thanks for providing a source. The numbers seem off though, 10t per person would be insane in a single year^^ maybe the scale is supposed to be kg not tonnes?
OP going on a psychosis-level ego-tripping rant about how they learned to read minds through juggling. Its definitely a shitpost but overusing the ableist slurs a bit.

1·6 days agoAccording to the source that doesnt seem to be the case though. Unfortunately it doesnt list all countries but the US is in 7th place with 62kt exports to non-OECD countries so at least we know that all other countries are below that in total exports. ‘Most countries’ would already have a lower per-capita at that amount.

1·6 days agoNot trying to defend it, but those 810kt are total export, 235kt are whats being exported to non-OECD countries according to the source, so about 3kg per person (which is still a lot)

2·8 days agoInteresting how nasty someone can become when so overconfidently incorrect. Im wondering how that happens? How would you become so convinced you know what the middle east is when you simply dont?

Not The Onion•Video game-loving China monk defends hobby, says gaming, religion serve similar life purposesEnglish
3·8 days agoI dont understand, where in the article does it say his religion told him gaming was good? If you are referring to the part about killing people in games, which is allowed under buddhist rules, that is him explaining how those two things dont collide (which many would assume), its not an excuse like you make it sound. Maybe you misunderstood his statements.

What credit? Who needs you to hang out with people besides you and them?
