While thinking about this some time ago, I looked into health care and how much it costs a country related to what the people actually get. Most European countries spend around 20% of their budget on healthcare, and get almost free healthcare in return. The US also spends around 20% on healthcare, and we all know what that gets you. So society can easily afford it, it’s just that in the US healthcare funds don’t go to the people, they go to the rich.
The second point, where people with needs met will not work, is not true. After 1 year of paid unemployment, life becomes extremely boring and dull. Even if you are housed, clothed, fed and healthy, you’ll want more things from life. You’ll want money to do fun activities and go places, buy a nicer house, car, phone, clothes, etc. I literally know a UK guy that would get £200/month less if he would work (which is a different problem) but he’s still considering it because he feels like a leech and simply has too much time on his hands.
Should we not rage at Israel then?
If their general actions don’t make you rage already, then surely focusing on headshots only can not be considered rage bait?

The paradox of tolerance is a philosophical concept suggesting that if a society extends tolerance to those who are intolerant, it risks enabling the eventual dominance of intolerance, thereby undermining the very principle of tolerance.

The only good solution to stop intolerance is to be intolerant against those who preach intolerance, like Trump and other regimes.
Yeah. It might be preferable to draw a line between social media and chat applications.
That way the people who are scared can teach their children to talk on services that are scanned, while people that care for their privacy can opt for private communication.
If it’s about pedophiles sharing stuff with each other, they’ll never be able to stop that.
5·2 days agoYou can run Dungeon Keeper in the linux version of DOSBox now so that’s not really needed anymore. Plus now we have KeeperFX that runs perfectly fine in Wine/Proton and we’re even getting close to a native linux build. :D
5·4 days agoI wish I could just start a country and allow politicians to rule it but whenever one of them says anything about sexuality or immigrants it’s just straight to the guillotine.
Well maybe we can just start doing that regardless of whether or not we start a new country first.
I have a good middle ground: no monetary gain = no kernel level anticheat. Tournaments with monetary gain = kernel level anticheat. Pretty neat right?

Company F server logs show that on or about May 12, 2025, threat actors downloaded, installed, and executed an ngrok agent—the program that creates a secure tunnel—on the Company F server. According to Company F, the ngrok agent had the authentication token17 2x0b1363KPV35LCUuZCkJag0G84_2btDjSM5oY82TQuiLZvaz (the “ngrok authentication token”).
According to Microsoft records, the ngrok account was set up through Global Device Identifier g:6755467234350028 (“the GDID”). According to a Microsoft representative, a Global Device Identifier in the Windows ecosystem is a persistent, device-level identifier designed to uniquely identify an installation of a Windows operating system on a device, either a physical device (e.g., a mobile phone or laptop) or virtual machine, across certain Microsoft services and scenarios. A GDID is a globally unique identifier tied to the installation of Windows on a device. A GDID remains consistent across Windows operating system updates on a device, but a reinstall of Windows, either on the same device or on a different device, will be tied to a new unique GDID.
Somehow the FBI got this GDID from ngrok logs made using a VPN, which they then were able to link to their original IPs on Microsoft services.
It’s just part of his cognitive bias manipulation.
He has to keep up chipping away logical reasoning and at some point people just accept it as truth.

Maybe he came across some dignity later in life? People are always changing and that’s something we should all be respecting.
