I hear what you’re saying about wars involving humans fighting for their people, but I think that oversimplifies things. Look, leaders and dictators have started plenty of wars just because of their own greed and hunger for power - not necessarily to protect their citizens.
And you can’t overlook all the conflicts caused by religious differences, ethnic tensions, or just plain old misunderstandings between cultures. Ideology has been a huge driving force too - just look at wars fought over differing political systems or ideologies.
I think you misinterpreted the last “humans”. They could be fighting for the defense of their families, or they could be fighting for the king that told them to.
