The link in this article says OMB first requested plans in 2023 but no mandated amount and then the new White House email in January this year said "50% in-person goal” which would be 2.5 per week or 5 days per 2 week period. Just curious. I’d believe it since he’s an old guard type but can’t find any quotes to that effect. Labor department itself in January only said 2 days per pay period.
All agencies have to do minimum 2 days, a few did more. I just realized I fucked up and put 4/week tho, it’s 2/wee or 4/pay period.

To get out of it you have to get some medical paperwork, which is what a lot are doing, or going to a new agency for a remote position even if you live in local commuting area
