minus-square@chiliedogglink20•8 months agoIt also partially explains the Western feeling to Star Wars. Lots of Kurisawa films were made into Westerns. Seven Samurai became the Magnificent Seven (and Bug’s Life!). Yojimbo and Sanjuro became A Fistful of Dollars and A Few Dollars More.
