I am still over there occasionally, because some journalists whose updates I follow are only there. The worst part is that the more right wing trolls I block, the more seem to pop up.
The bird.makeup instance allows you to follow any Twitter account without having to be on the site.
I follow multiple Twitter accounts on mastodon with this method. If an account is missing go on the bird.makeup website and search for the profile, it will pop up on the fediverse soon
