For the first time in a while I care about the DFB Pokal more than FA Cup, cuz Kaiserslautern can do something pretty funny or Leverkusen can do something really cool.
I want both teams to lose in the FA Cup. Probably not gonna watch lol. If City win we get to try for the Shield, if United win it’s funny and probably better for football as a whole.
I didn’t want us to have to play for the community shield, because I feel like if it didn’t work out for us it would harm our morale and form for the start of the season, and all for a pointless joke of a trophy.
Plus for as much as I hate Man United, them winning means that Man City are denied the double.
So I’m content with this result. Sort of. I think a localized meteor strike would have been the best option. But oh well.
eh, I want the shield. It’s still silverware. I prefer it to the League Cup, to be honest. But yeah, fucking over City is good too.
Ended up watching, this has been pretty fun so far tbh lol
Can’t say I’m unhappy with that. Even though annoyingly it means we don’t get a chance at a trophy next season.
