Their response actually seems quite sensible and well thought out. Calling it a clampdown seems a bit excessive. Obviously large events like this have to show that they comply with the law, but it’s clearly impossible to actually stop people taking drugs at festivals at all, and I’m sure they wouldn’t really want that because for a lot of people taking drugs is why they go to festivals in the first place… So, really, focusing on harm reduction and providing information seems like a good place to be.
