This little iron refinery probably isnt much to look at for experienced players, but Im pretty proud of it. has 2 miners on a pair of pure iron deposits behind the structure feeding into the 8 smelters inside, divided into 2 different output locations because the best conveyors I currently have can only handle half it’s output. There is a small amount of clipping, but nothing super cheaty looking (the mergers that clip through the outside wall dont use the side that clips through, so I like to imagine the exterior bits of them as looking like some sort of ventilation ducts or something.
I don’t remember if you’re at a place where you have the MAM, Awesome Sink and Awesome Shop unlocked. But you should totally get it ASAP. When I was new I thought it wasn’t very useful, and then after like 40 hours I realized some of my favorite/most-used content is in there, especially if you love to decorate!
It also includes an unlock path for some content that becomes highly convenient in mid/late game.
I have been using the MAM. The Awesome shop and such I have unlocked, but haven’t actually gotten around to building yet, because I’ve been distracted with other stuff so far, like setting up coal power so I’m not constantly having to refuel things, or exploring the map (I swear the map in a factory builder has no business being this pretty, gives me major Subnautica vibes minus the ocean)
