you’re thinking of authoritarian/authoritarianism— and while fascism is inherently authoritarian, the two are discrete concepts.
They’re the same thing exactly. You can’t differentiate them in any meaningful way.

just because all fascism is authoritarian doesn’t me all authoritarianism is fascism just like how all water is liquid but that doesn’t mean all liquid is water.
