77 degrees?! I had no idea it would be this hot today! I thought the heat wave was last week! Stay hydrated, open your windows!

    SF is typically around 65 degrees, give or take a few degrees. Over 70 is abnormal. We call our mild summers “June Gloom, no-sky-July, and Fogust.” Maybe the high humidity here makes 77 feel hotter than it is. I’m not accustomed to this heat. I would have bought movie tickets if I knew it was going to be this hot. It’s down to 75 now. Hopefully that 4 o’clock coastal breeze will kick in and blow all this heat away.

      I’m so jealous though I don’t miss humidity. I’m in a valley not far from SF and it’s 102

      Almost 4pm now and there’s a good strong breeze along the Embarcadero. Yet it’s still warm enough for shorts and T-shirts. Perfect!

      Edit: in classic form, only minutes later it’s already gusting to over 20mph (my estimate) and only occasionally falling to a light breeze. Kind of halfway expecting to see the fog peek over before long 😖 but that’s just how it goes.
