I’ve had moments where the answer of my search was a Reddit link. I knew I would get the answer there but I first tried all the other links. Then I cringed when I had to go on Reddit to find my answer. I don’t like it there anymore. I like Apollo, I always hated Reddit’s website.
Same, used a script to mass edit all my posts/comments to garbage, deleted them all, then deleted my account. I noticed reddit wouldn’t properly show me all my comments which made it harder to hunt them down but I got most of them.
If I can’t use a third party app to view content without an account, reddit is dead to me. Luckily Lemmy has been great.
I left during the Blackout and I’ve never looked back.
To be fair I’ve got shortcuts I reflexively use and clicked on Google links. It’s like quitting smoking and visiting your relatives who smoke? IDK
