I’m glad we can hop out and instantly bothsides this one by comparing insidious shit the DNC does choosing its presidential candidates vs. gerrymandering to prevent voters from having any choice about their specific districts’ leadership in the general.

Amazing, though, how much a defeatist attitude like yours can, and will, accelerate that process. (So, yeah, arguments like this are a HUGE PART OF THE PROBLEM!!!)

Southern Strategy and decades of propaganda fed to fear-addicted racists is what lead to Donald Trump.

The only way past “better than the only other option” is when there is such overwhelming support behind the guy who does not want a Long Knife that we can safely vote for an actual preference. Or a sane voting system would be fine too.

Rofl. Showing your hand once again.

Thread is on Republicans trying to subvert the will of the people by gerrymandering away their votes to be meaningless, and you take it straight to “both sides” / Dems bad whataboutism.

You repeatedly frame your arguments as “dems won’t get better unless we force them to”, but it’s plain as day that your real goal is disenfranchise Dem voters specifically so that the fascists win.

But keep hiding behind your flimsy facade. You’ve avoided a ban so far, so it’s working with the mods.
