It almost feels like there’s an algorithm for maximizing viewer retention or something, but I don’t know why lemmy would need it to be this strong. It might be that “Active” nerfs your posts if your previous post doesn’t get interaction. I browse new and like to read every post in few communities, so that might be why I saw it. People with a general feed might be more influenced by the algorithm.
