minus-square@ripcordlink1•edit-26 months agoWhich is weird, since Win2k definitely had lower hardware compatibility than XP, Vista, 7, etc. It wasn’t consumer-focused and just didn’t have the driver compatibility from vendors yet.

Quite the contrary, it had exemplary compatibility, including Plug’n’Play and wide native USB support.
