What?
The only way this makes sense, is if they’re talking about organ donors after they pass away. It’s not like people are just randomly giving kidneys out for no reason
But still, it’s not like we have too many kidneys, aren’t people on wait lists for years?
And it sounds like it’s due to correlation. Like, a healthy kidney is a healthy kidney. Who cares if it’s more likely to be healthy or not for certain demographics?

My only real question is: can’t you tell that…before you take them out?
Yeah, that’s the reason it’s got to be “organ donor” like on your driver’s license and they take everything they can right before you die.
So like, if the algorithm is leading to rejecting healthy kidneys due to race of the donor, this could be a huge deal.
But also, kidneys aren’t good forever, and maybe a match isn’t close by?
It’s very interesting just nowhere near enough details for an article.
