minus-square@astropenguin5link5•7 months agoUnfortunately, there is also almost certainly a secondary problem in that the parks and rescue services are underfunded to do such overhauls. Granted, some better off ones probably can and will but likely not all.
Perhaps they should consider retrofitting with higher-lift rotors, or replacing the helicopters with higher lift models. Just a thought.
