To accept it is to accept that I will be put on the chopping block and no one will care or do anything to stop it, and it’s just a matter of time. Enforcing a red line is the only possible way to ensure long-term security. If you say it won’t work, then I may die trying, but I’d rather do that than resign myself to death the other way and be complicit in my own demise. That’s all there is to it.
