Andreessen Horowitz is betting the house on crypto. (Yes, really.) This spring, the VC firm schooled a new batch of founders that it hopes can prove the technology is good for more than scams and speculation.
Only read the intro before the paywall kicked in, this should be called “pump and dump boot camp” with a subtitle “learn how to execute legal fraud with a crypto ruse”.
All these “crypto startups” exist to allow aspiring scammers and organized criminal groups like A16Z to run legal pump and dumps. They do some hype promotion to attract marks (web3 enabled plungers!!!), the scheme of course collapses, insiders get their money and a bunch of people are left with worthless tokens.
