Former President Donald Trump was rushed off the stage at a rally Saturday evening in Butler, Pennsylvania, after what sounded like gunshots rang out. Screams could be heard from the crowd, which ducked and tried to take cover.
From the thumbnail, Trump appears to be injured though not critically.
Several shots rang out before Trump put his hand to his right ear. Secret Service agents immediately rushed to defend Trump, calling out for him to get on the ground. He remained down for about a minute, surrounded by agents. When he stood back up later, supported by agents, he appeared injured and blood was on his face. The former president gave a fist pump as he was ushered off the stage and whisked away in an SUV.
It was either an incredibly close call or he hurt himself getting to the ground.
