I mean, the Republicans have a habit of constantly casting each other out for various forms of apostasy, real or imagined, and declaring the apostate a “RINO”. With the way they talk about non-Republicans, that unperson is then a lower lifeform not worthy of empathy…if that’s the kind of thing that led to this, it wouldn’t be that surprising, I guess.
