It actually isn’t getting removed properly. There is a bug in Lemmy right now where it is only getting removed on the home instance, lemmy.ml - and still appears on lemmy.world and others. GitHub issue https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3535

Seriously, though - if you aren’t happy with the status quo, do something to help. Otherwise, remember that all of us are volunteers, from the mods to most of the instance admins.
Asklemmy desperately needs better / more mods
The community is still in an early stage, and I don’t even think that Lemmy allows you to validate that titles contain a question mark for instance.
It’s also on the community to learn the rules
