I might have accidentally uploaded an embarrassing image with names in it to the public image gallery. I’m not even sure I did, but it’s possible. I’m worried that someone I know will see it. It’s not been upvoted from what I can see, since it’s not “trending” or “best.” I can’t find it in recent because it’s already deeply buried. My questions:
- Any way I can delete it?
- Will it get auto deleted after a while? If so, do you know how long?
- Will it appear on google images?
- Do I have any recourse?
- Do I even need to be worried?

I don’t even have the image anymore, so I couldn’t reverse search. I’ve tried searching for key words in the prompt, but nothing came up.
If you can’t find the image posted by accident, it may be good to showcase the likely chance of people you may know seeing it.
As you mentioned, it is buried with the rest. Try to reverse-search a non-trending picture to see if search engines show images from that platform.
You can try to message moderators to ask directly for advice; they may be willing to help or give sound advice.
