The neoliberal wing of the democratic party is the one that pushed him to drop out, they’re the ones that are going to pick the new candidate. They’re not going to pick someone who’s as concerned about consumer protections as Biden was, they’re not going to put people like Lina Khan in power, they’re not going to want to increase taxes on the wealthy, they’re not going to want to look after worker rights and safety. This was a victory for the Nancy Pelosi’s, the Hillary Clinton’s, the Kamala Harris’s. There’s a reason that the people who were backing Biden were the leftists.
