Nearly four in ten (39%) of US adults say they worry most or all of the time that their family’s income won’t be enough to meet expenses, according to a new CNN poll. That’s up from 28% who expressed those concerns in December 2021, and it’s similar to the numbers seen during the Great Recession (37%).

To cope, significant shares of Americans said they are adding side jobs, cutting down on driving and putting more expenses on credit cards.

Yeah, you definitely read the article and didn’t jump to conclusions at all. Clown.

Groceries are up $1k a month. They’ve cut streaming and entertainment and started relying on the library. They’ve stopped driving. They’re working 2, 3 jobs. Not sure what shitty kings you’re hanging with if this seems luxurious to you.

Lol that guy is crazy, probably has no clue just how expensive having a family is. Listed nothing factual at all, no statistics or avg/median prices, spending data, nothing. Probably regurgitating some fox news shit that if you have A/C and a fridge you’re better off than a 15th century peasant.

Hope they get the help they need.

Your post history makes it pretty clear that you suffer from depression - the unrealistically black and white thinking, the lack of anything but negativity - so I’m sorry about that. If you can, I’d recommend trying psilocybin. It’s helped several people I know with bad depression.

In the meantime I’m going to block you, since 95%+ of your posts are straight trolling.

Who is paying $1,000 of groceries a month?

<nervously raises hand> someone with a family, perhaps.

Right there with you. I can’t leave Costco without spending at least $200. I go every week. This doesn’t account for target. I’ve cut Starbucks out entirely though so Im pretty much set for retirement.

Report the troll, post for others to report and mute them, then mute them yourself, nothing but frustration will ever come from trying to reason with a troll.

And next time you see someone -blocked- in a thread, let the community know they’re dealing with, at best, a bad faith actor.
