Your source was outdated and asking for, but otherwise accurate. I was asking for what caused them to form, but your source is their (for lack of better words) manifesto. Why they do, but not why why they are.
So why the downvote? I made no moral claim to hold ANY stance. Just used the mission statement I found published by Hamas.

I see a manifesto as akin to a mission statement. The issues highlighted within are the why. Sorry if I misinterpreted that.
