IIRC, there is a multiverse timeline where Tony becomes Dr. Doom. Considering how they’re really playing into/opening up the multiverse and with Secret Wars also coming, I’m actually really stoked for this.
So it’s more multiverse stuff that they’re desperately trying to claw back from the brink after Jonathon Majors beat the fuck out of his woman and they had to drop their new villain.

Honestly I feel Deadpool summed up the multiverse quite well.
I’d feel better about it if it seemed to be going anywhere…
