This is why I am showing my daughter (who is queer) how to use a VPN. She knows we wouldn’t check on her, but I want her to feel absolutely secure in that knowledge.
Not to mention totally fuck over lgbtq kids on the internet. Especially those in religiously intolerant households.
They no longer have safe access to support networks outside of the family.
Or kids looking for healthcare of any sort without their parents permission (or knowledge. Not just abortions but also vaccines.)
