I wore kilts for about 6 years. I miss them sometimes, but it is far too hot here now, plus we have rattlesnakes.
Imagine a rattlesnake coming for yours under your kilt. Damn, that gave me the shivers.
As someone who previously survived a rattlesnake bite, this is exactly why i do not wear kilts here.
