Not sure if it’s cool to post this here but I made a generator that’s basically a demo for ai-text-plugin
: https://perchance.org/ai-text-plugin-demo. I don’t know who manages that plugin, but maybe it would be useful for learners to use, to visualise how it works in more detail.
Very cool! I linked this demo next to the list of options/inputs on the plugin page. I also linked to your lemmy account page btw - lmk if you’d prefer not, or if you’d prefer me to link to a different social/generator page.
Btw, I’m not sure if it’s just an Ubuntu thing, but I see rectangles where I think I’m supposed to see some sort of emoji/icon:
That’s great–thanks :D
Yeah, that’s a simple (i) character. It’s super frustrating, but there’s a load of unicode characters that some systems just don’t have. I use a chromebook, which seems to have all unicode characters/emojis. So I often forget that I need to double-check they still show up on other devices.
I’ve changed it to look roughly the same, but using CSS formatting. So it should look okay for you now.
I’ve now added full dark-mode styles. And fixed it so that after clicking “stop generating” a generator actually starts it immediately closes itself.
Hey, I’m wondering, do you get the same problem with https://perchance.org/ai-text-to-image-generator? It uses the same (i) character I was using. If it’s working there… why is that?
