I like FPS games with a longer TTK (time to kill) on average. Not so big on the more realistic ones. Team Fortress 2, Deep Rock Galactic (PvE but still), Overwatch 1, and recently Battlebit has broken a bit from the trend for me, but I’m enjoying it.
Strategy, 4X games
Love 4X (explore, expand, exploit, exterminate) games. Civilization 5/6 and Stellaris have taken up a lot of my time.
Roguelikes/lites
Love these, of many different genres. Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Across the Obelisk for card based ones, Enter the Gungeon is one of the few games I’ve totally 100%ed, Hades is a masterpiece, and I’m always looking around for new ones.
Those are the big genres I’m into. I branch out into other stuff often, but I’ll always come back to these.
