Trump’s whole schtick is to latch onto a red herring and run off deep into left field with it and make that the focal point, but the thing is that he’s lately been doing that kind of thing in a really bizarre manner (Hannibal Lector? wtf), so the more he talks, the better for Kamala. He’s starting to push it so far it’s all falling off the table and instead of just alienating undecides he’s starting to alienate moderate supporters. edit: dude has been coming off as ‘weird’ to his own lately
