“She is biracial,” “This Week” anchor George Stephanopoulos pointed out.

Watch the video. This guy is trash, but Stephanopoulos keeps calling him out.

This is not a nothing burger. Clearly, the GOP are doing their best to pivot away from trumps horrifying performance, and doing whatever they can to focus on the myth of Kamala‘s “record on the border”, as if that was ever a thing…

For those who don’t know, Harris was sent around Central and South American countries to meet with leadership and discuss systemic causes of trans-migration and how to address it, but this GOP myth of “Kamala the Border Czar” is made up of whole cloth, as are their claims of a waterfall-like deluge of undocumented immigrants across the southern border.

And, finally, another reminder that the vast majority of undocumented immigrants are those who arrive legally, often by air, and simply overstay their visa. They still pay taxes like everyone else, but they don’t get tax refunds, they can’t vote, they commit crimes at a fraction of that of native-born Americans and violent crimes at an even smaller fraction.

The GOP’s hyperbolic and false narratives are an obvious sign that they’re panicking about Trump’s disastrous recent performances, doing all they can to deflect, redirect, and manufacture entirely new false narratives that they think we’re dumb enough to swallow.

Meanwhile, keep the facts in mind, and look out for each other.

correct. more illegal immigrants come through LAX airport than the entire southern border.

A person can be an undocumented immigrant, or possibly a visitor overstaying a visa, but nowhere, ever, is it “illegal” to be a person. Continuing to use that term dehumanizes often vulnerable and desperate human beings, typically based on their race/place of origin and economic status while perpetuating and exacerbating racial and socioeconomic divides which already exist far too much everywhere.

Such discriminatory speech is not only vulgar, offensive, and inflammatory, it’s against the rules— and unwelcome.

Made up things stick, if not handled.

We saw it with Clinton. Now we’re seeing it with Vance and furniture.

Made up things work. Handle them if you can, otherwise that perception becomes difficult to fight.
