Three of the five member Georgia Board of Elections are Trump supporting election deniers. Even if the election is a blow out for Harris/Walz, Trump’s sycophants will create absolute havoc in many counties around the country, particularly counties where the election might be expected to be close. They will refuse to certify elections. They will lie again claiming they have evidence of massive fraud and they will file endless lawsuits. In the end, they will try their damnedest to tie up the election certification process in at least one state so the Supreme Court can step in and declare Trump the winner, as they did with Bush in 2000.
If none of that works and the electoral vote certification goes off and Harris wins, Trump’s loosest cannons will lose their shit and he will get the bloodbath he wants. So even if we hold the line against these fascists and manage to pull off a free and fair election despite their efforts, we will have to pay in blood to do it.
