That’s unfortunate. I’ll probably watch it anyway just for the cool spaceships and explosions.
There’s not even that much of that…
First few episodes is literally just about how humanity has gone to shit, broken all promises made to Iskandar, and literally no-one remembers the Yamato. This supposedly has happened within a mere three years since the events of 2199, WHICH SAVED THE ENTIRE FUCKING SPECIES. The anniversary of the Yamato’s return happens, and literally just the crew shows up to the monument. Seems legit.
Man 2202 made me angry with how bad it is.
I guess it is starting to make sense why nobody told me about it. 😅
