I assume her point here is to stoke transphobia for clout. There are lots of phobic/ignorant parents who think queer is contagious or a conscious decision people make. They fear that exposure to queerness will make their kids queer. She’s further farming for outrage by making the restroom the boys’ room and the age (4th grade) one that is typically pre-pubescent.

Exposure makes kids aware that it’s okay to be different, to be who they feel like they are, and to explore who they may be.
Bigots don’t like this.
Yeah. It doesn’t make kids queer, it just makes queer kids more comfortable expressing themselves, and they want people to just repress.
I think that gets conflated with “making them gay”, because “no dang kid of mine could possibly”
