To be fair, this may not make Mars more habitable, but it would absolutely make earth more habitable.
Wouldn’t new billionaires simply take their place? I suspect your suggestion may have been slightly facetious, but I feel like the underlying problem might not be the billionaires themselves, but the system which creates them.
