Vice President Harris is nipping at former President Trump’s heels in his home state of Florida, a pollster from Suffolk University says after a new Sunshine State survey.

The USA Today/Suffolk University/WSVN-TV poll found Harris just 5 points behind Trump among likely Florida voters, 42 percent to 47 percent, just outside the poll’s margin of error.

Florida has a million more registered Republicans than Democrats, and Trump won the state in both 2016 and 2020.

Given those circumstances, I was surprised that Harris is within striking distance, being only 5 points down,” David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center, told USA Today in a Tuesday report.

I don’t understand how florida can’t go blue this cycle. The abortion ammendment needs +60% to pass. Let’s say it gets 63%. Is 13% of the electorate going to say: “I support abortion rights, but I am still going to vote for the one that took them away over the one that made it the centerpiece of her campaign”

Some people are willing to give the GOP power in order to cut their taxes (which is an empty promise to begin with), with the hope that other institutional forces prevent them from enacting all the other crazy shit they might not totally agree with.

      These people are called morons.

Pardon my ignorance but why are you assuming that the abortion amendment is guaranteed to pass?
