RFK Jr., Stein qualify for Washington's general election ballot

A total of nine nominations by minor parties and independent candidates have qualified for Washington's General Election Ballot.

The SOS listed the following minor and independent candidates will appear on the Nov. 5 General Election ballot:

We The People Party: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is running for president with Nicole Shanahan as vice president.

Green Party: Jill Stein is running for president with Samson LeBeau Kpadenou as vice president.

Socialism and Liberation Party: Claudia De la Cruz is running for president with Karina Garcia.

Socialist Workers Party: Rachele Fruit is running for president with Dennis Richter.

Socialist Equality Party: Joseph Kishore is running for president with Jerry White as vice president.

Libertarian Party: Chase Oliver is running for president with Mike ter Maat as vice president.

Cascade Party: Krist Novoselić is running for president with James Carroll as vice president.

Justice For All Party: Cornel West is running for president with Melina Abdullah as vice president.

Independent Candidate: Shiva Ayyadurai is running for president with Crystal Ellis as vice president.

    Immediately unbanned because they realized that I wasn’t spamming or trolling. Guess they did their research?

    They did ban one of the guys who was being uncivil to me and trolling me hard, false reporting and falsely accusing me of stuff, though!

    So go check the modlog again if you want.

    And I totally missed all of it, cuz I was at work. lolol

        Oh ok, then I guess they found out that I wasn’t abusing the reporting button, and that I was actually helping the community by reporting people who try to make this place toxic.

            I wonder who would have tried to make them think that, before they found out that it wasn’t true? Like wasn’t there someone who tried to imply that I was reporting people for being uncivil, but that person didn’t seem to read the room correctly and felt that the people attacking me weren’t uncivil.

            Now I can’t remember that person’s username. Hmmm…do you have any idea?

            In the end, I guess it doesn’t matter. No reason to name and shame.

            Because it was quickly discovered that I DID NOT engage in abusive reporting. So no ban!

            I guess a win for the community and a win for those of us who want to keep this community diverse and engaging.

            So it’s a good thing for this place. I love that this place believes in a community that celebrates diverse viewpoints, as long as they stay respectful.

                I’m not sure, because in the end, they did NOT think that I abused anything. Hence, no ban. So all good!

                And I can continue posting political news articles that keep this community engaging and diverse. Which is a good thing for politics! Good, strong content is good for a robust community. :)

                    Well, there are rules in the community for a reason.

                    And I think that reason is so that diverse viewpoints won’t be suppressed by baseless accusations, and uncivility.

                    So do you think people should refrain from reporting rule infractions in this community?

                    I’m not entirely clear on what you are implying. Please feel free to clarify what you think about the rules for this sub. I personally think they are there for a reason.
