The morning after the huge crackdowns that happened nationwide, I was doomscrolling videos of outright repression and became so depressed that I had to take the day off work. I wasn’t emotionally capable of putting up with anyone’s bullshit and would have said something that cost me my job otherwise. Incredible how we just sorta let that happen and then pretended it didn’t.
