Sure, vote Republican. They will definitely help the situation in Palestine.

Sure. 100% of criticism of genocide is Trump support.

There is no other possible explanation, as genocide is the only good in this world and no one would ever have any reason to actually oppose it in good faith.

        Look - yeah, i made a snark-ass comment.

Fuck the dems handling of this. Biden stance on this whole situation has been shameful and heartbreaking… Trump and any other Republican presidential pick would have hastened this tragedy 10 fold. This is the definition of cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Protest all you want - but when it comes down to it - IN THE USA - you have to vote blue to get ANY sort of centrist or SLIGHTLY left leaning anything. Even if you have two shit choices, its up to you to find what good you can make of the 2 choices you have.

Fundamental change is not coming to the american 2 party system within 3 months of the election.

Im dug in on this so continuing to talk about it right now will do no good for either of us. You do what you will with your vote. its a free country - for now.

          I’m already voting for Harris.

I hope she puts some daylight between her position and Bidenyahu’s. I’m just exhausted with the whole “everyone who is upset about genocide wants Trump” crap that the pro-genocide wing of the Democratic Party keeps pulling. Also, there shouldn’t be a pro-genocide wing of either fucking party, but this is the howling maelstrom of fresh misery we inhabit, so…

I’m not denying pro genocide in both parties - I think it’s disgusting. I just know that Dems are the lesser evil.

            Hard agree with you.

So do I. I resent them for taking advantage of the situation. I miss being able to vote without needing a long shower afterwards.

If you always vote for Party A, because Party B is always worse, then what incentive does Party A have to actually listen to your demands? None. It’s simple game theory. If you commit yourself to Party A, unequivocally, Party A can basically ignore all your needs and demands.

And the other point is, the party in question is already in government and can already today do meaningful action, but they refuse to. This goes beyond the election. Why are they not acting today?

moot point. The time for protesting to persuade platform change is over. Candidates have been chosen. Platform decided.

Now the choice is vote for the side that has supported Israel reluctantly while attempting to aid ceasefire negotiations, or the side that has absolutely 100% made it clear the Democrats are not doing enough to support Israel without reservations. Game Theory makes it clear you have zero bargaining power now as they’ll just call your bluff. That’s it. That’s the reality.

Voting for Democrats sure isn’t fucking helping them. US Imperialism is 100% bipartisan.

So sacrifice Gaza to the whims of right wing Israel with unlimited firepower from Republicans? We don’t have a political system where various parties can have healthy competition. We should but we don’t.

By the time the next president gets in there, there will be nothing resembling Gaza left.

Imperialism would imply the US is benefiting from the current situation, but this is not clear. Although the US is imperialistic, it is not even clear to me that the US is acting in its best interest in this particular case.

Yeah, because the American arms dealers supplying almost all the weapons used to commit genocide and other atrocities aren’t profiting at all and have no influence on any politicians 🙄

Their name is “anti-colonist” yes I know I used colon. Their point is shit.

They have no idea how anything works and their points are stuck in pirate times.

Sure the US shouldn’t engage with the sugar trade or Dole bananas but beyond that they have nothing to offer.

The entire existence of the occupied territories is so the US has a foothold in the region.

That entire failed state is and always was a colonial project of the US.
