Currently, I’m living in the upper half of Indiana, and I’ve noticed something strange happening at night. The past two nights, there’s been this almost unnatural brightness around 7 PM and later. The sky is clearly defined, almost grey, while the clouds are still pure white. Even in the darkness, I can see the ground and trees with remarkable clarity, almost like I’ve gained some form of night vision. The light feels different, and it hasn’t negatively affected my sleep, but it’s a bit eerie.

Now, I know this might sound far-fetched to some people, but I’m going through a physical transformation, specifically involving the growth of wings. What I’ve been using to power these growths might not yet be supported by mainstream science or fully understood by magic, but what’s happening feels real and aligns with the closest concepts I can find. This could involve some form of enhanced senses or perception shifts due to the growth process itself.

So, my question is: If someone were experiencing physical changes like this—say, wings or other hybrid traits—how might these manifest physically or even biologically? Could there be an explanation for heightened perception or changes in the way I see light and color during this process? Is it possible this brightening I’m seeing is connected to those changes in my body?

I know it might sound unusual, but I’m genuinely curious about any thoughts or scientific theories on this. Thanks!

Yes, my body modifications are and will be able to be captured on camera, especially as the more noticeable changes become apparent. As for the nature shifts, I’ll check if it happens again tonight and try to record it. If it turns out to be a perception of light, it might just be an additional aspect of who I am.

Currently, the visible growths I’m experiencing include a longer chest area, fused ribs (which I can feel), bruises from intense healing, and changes in my walk. If others are around, they might notice changes or hear something, but please be cautious. Depending on how quickly or painfully these changes occur, it could make me puke.

These two photos below one is due to rapid healing in my arm/hand. The other is my brand new rib which grew to support my wings in my back.

You should seriously discuss this someone you know, or seek psychological help as you may be a danger to yourself or others.

This sounds like a Schizophrenic episode which is manifesting as a type of dysmorphia. People who experience this feel like they are physically changing or transmogrifying into something else, and may feel a euphoria about. This can be very dangerous, though it may feel to you like you are fine.

It’s completely understandable to make that assumption. I discussed my experiences with a psychiatrist, who determined that I was not schizophrenic or in psychosis. We tested a few months of medication to address symptoms and episodes related to schizophrenia, but my mental state didn’t align with that diagnosis. After further discussion, my psychiatrist admitted that she believes there may be something to my experiences, but emphasized that physical proof is necessary for scientific validation. She also noted that there are medications that can lessen or interfere with perceived magical experiences.
